WORK PACKAGES

​PHEMTRONICS WORK PLAN includes 5 work packages with the scientific-technical core composed of three WPs with distinct innovation topics:
WP1: Coordination  and Innovation Management
To elaborate the conceptual and methodological framework to be used to develop and sustain all technical activities.
WP Leader: Institute of Nanotechnology, National Council of Research, CNR-NANOTEC (Bari, Italy)
WP2: Plasmonic Phase-Change Materials and Processes Development
To develop processes for a novel transdimensional photo-switchable plasmonic phase-change materials platform, gain new knowledge of phase change and optical dynamics in transdimensional regimes by electrodynamic simulations and to achieve phase change via postulating model Hamiltonians, supported by stochastic, computational physics and density functional theories.

To define, design, fabricate and characterize waveguide integrated near-field coupled phase-change components and devices

WP4: Integration, Validation & Demonstration
 Integration and testing of 3 kinds of demonstrators. of ultrafast switch, reconfigurable antenna and broadband  adaptive photodetector
WP Leader: VLC PHOTONICS SOCIEDAD LIMITADA (Valencia, Spain)
WP5: Communication, Dissemination, Training, and Exploitation
To deliver and adopt dissemination, education, communication and exploitation tools to ensure that the developed technology is translated in benefits for industries and society.
